VIAVI Solutions is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in imaging and machine vision. You will design, implement, and test software for embedded platforms, contributing to complete product lifecycles from concept to production.

The role requires expertise in C/C++, Python, and Linux-based embedded environments, with hands-on experience in imaging algorithms, OpenCV, and hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of software development experience in C/C++ and Python.
• 3+ years developing with C/C++ in embedded real-time systems.
• 3+ years of industry experience in embedded Imaging Applications and Machine Vision.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software for enhancements and new products.
• Develops software and tools for design, infrastructure, and technology platforms including Linux and embedded systems.
• Develops embedded imaging algorithms and applications in C++ and Python.
• Collaborates across teams through the full product lifecycle from requirements to production.
