Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Ontario seeks a Site SME to oversee validation, deployment, and maintenance of laboratory applications, including Empower, Chromeleon, and Sample Manager LIMS, within a GMP-regulated environment.

You will support audits, manage users and roles, coordinate with IT and vendors, and provide end-user training while maintaining a safe, compliant lab. This role demands extensive laboratory software experience and a strong grasp of 21 CFR Part 11.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years laboratory experience.
• Minimum 6 years with laboratory software (Empower, Chromeleon, LIMS).
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer validated lab software applications.
• Serve as SME for laboratory applications and manage user access.
• Support audits and regulatory activities.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors on system upgrades.
• Provide end-user training and maintain safety.
• Perform monthly reviews and reports.
