Job summary

Magna, a global mobility technology leader, seeks a Senior Law Clerk to support Legal Counsel, Compliance and Regulatory teams. You’ll coordinate litigation, e-discovery, enterprise risk activities, and third-party due diligence across a multinational operation.

The role requires a Law Clerk or Paralegal diploma with 8+ years of experience, excellent organization, discretion and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work, strong benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation and e-discovery support activities, including matter management, preservation, and coordination with internal/external parties.
  • Coordinate Enterprise Risk Management activities and track mitigation actions for senior leadership.
  • Administer third-party due diligence and sanctions screening, maintain adjudication docs, and support data quality.
  • Provide high-level operational support, budget tracking and quarterly planning across the Ethics & Legal Compliance function.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.Your ResponsibilitiesSalary: $90,000-120,000 annuallyImmediate, open positionJoin a high-performing Ethics & Legal Compliance team where you'll play a key role in managing complex litigation matters, enterprise risk initiatives, and third-party compliance programs. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful, high-profile projects that help protect and support the business on a global scale.What You'll Do:Litigation, E-Discovery and Records Management Support: Manage litigation and e-discovery support activities, including matter management, document preservation and hold support, collection tracking, discovery coordination, records organization, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel. Act as a trusted point of contact for sensitive compliance, litigation and risk-related matters, exercising sound judgment, discretion and professionalism.Enterprise Risk Management: Coordinate Enterprise Risk Management activities, including maintaining risk records, tracking mitigation actions, coordinating information requests, preparing related reporting materials, and contributing to timely and accurate updates for senior leadership.Third-Party Due Diligence Administration: Administer third-party due diligence and sanctions screening processes, including coordinating reviews, monitoring workflows, identifying and escalating red flags, maintaining adjudication documentation, supporting data quality, and coordinating issue resolution with system users and vendors.Department Operations and Support: Provide high-level operational and administrative support to the Ethics & Legal Compliance function, including coordinating key quarterly meetings, managing departmental planning activities, and coordinating global budget tracking and spend reporting with regional compliance leads.Process Improvement and Reporting: Identify, develop and implement process improvements, procedures, templates, reporting tools and technology-enabled solutions, including solutions incorporating Artificial Intelligence, to improve efficiency, consistency, data quality and overall effectiveness across the Ethics & Legal Compliance function.Why This Role Stands Out: You'll combine legal expertise, risk management, and innovation in a highly visible role that contributes directly to the organization's integrity, compliance, and success.
