Job summary

Houston Landscapes Ltd. in North Vancouver, BC is seeking a Senior Landscape Carpenter for a full-time, permanent role. You will lead carpentry aspects of landscape projects, interpret blueprints, and ensure on-site safety and quality.

Applicants should have at least 4 years of carpentry experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently in varying weather conditions. The company offers a health benefits plan after probation and two weeks of paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years of Carpenter experience or relevant work experience.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to determine layout and materials.
• Lead carpentry aspects of landscape projects, including decks, walls, walkways, stairs and water features.
• Inspect existing structures and perform repairs using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials to required specifications with accuracy.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized work environment.
• Provide guidance to labourers and entry-level carpenters.
