Job summary

AECOM Buildings + Places in Burnaby (Canada) is seeking a Landscape Architect IV – Design and Community Planning to lead planning and design initiatives across complex landscape projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, advancing community-driven master plans, mobility and land-use strategies, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or Planning or equivalent.
• Professional registration, eligibility for registration, or active pursuit of registration is an asset.
• IAP2 or Indigenous engagement training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate landscape architecture, planning and urban design to align community aspirations with delivery pathways.
• Oversee site analysis, visioning, and concept development with multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with Project Managers and senior leadership.
• Support project delivery from proposal through implementation and ensure quality across deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to studio growth and best practices.
