Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Planning & Scheduling Lead to join our Burnaby, BC team in a newly created role. You will manage contractor/subcontractor schedules and perform critical reviews to ensure realism and alignment with contract terms.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in scheduling, PMP/AACE preferred, and strong proficiency with Primavera P6, Acumen, Excel and Power BI. This role demands leadership, collaboration and a proactive approach to project timing.

Qualifications

• University education in Engineering, Finance or Economics and 8 years of related experience.
• PMP or AACE Certification preferred.
• Primavera P6 – Advanced Level
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power BI) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manages submission and review of project schedules from contractors and consultants.
• Evaluates schedule impact of changes per contract terms.
• Identifies schedule conflicts and works with teams to resolve them.
• Maintains client level schedules and aligns interfaces into the master program schedule.
• Provides schedule reporting and critical path analysis per requirements.
• Supports QSRA process and coordinates with Risk and Cost Managers.
• Coaches and mentors staff on scheduling practices.
• Reviews project status with management and clients to highlight variances.
