Job summary

Greenfire Resources is seeking a Senior Land Administrator to independently manage the Surface and Mineral Land portfolio for SAGD operations in Canada. You will handle Crown land rights, surface agreements, mineral leases, and land obligations with strong regulatory insight.

Reporting to the Director, Land & Community Relations, you will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Regulatory, and Finance to ensure timely acquisition, maintenance, compliance, and reporting of land assets.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive surface/mineral land administration experience in Alberta oil and gas.
• Strong ability to manage land rights, leases, rentals, and obligations independently.
• Familiarity with Alberta Crown land processes, land regulations, and AER requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently administer day‑to‑day land portfolio for surface and mineral assets.
• Coordinate acquisition, renewal, surrender, and administration of land rights and licenses.
• Maintain accurate land records in the designated land management system (IFS Qbyte CS Land).
• Monitor expiries, obligations, renewals, and business impacts; report to Director on risks and actions.
• Support cross‑functional teams with land requirements for projects and operations.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and land management summaries.
