Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Journeyperson Plumber to operate facility systems, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and provide services on mechanical and electrical systems in a Toronto-area facility. The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a valid provincial Journeyman plumber license, with the ability to work shifts and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed plumber.

Responsibilities

• Determines piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Interprets blueprints, drawings and specifications to map layouts of plumbing systems.
• Installs, replaces and repairs valves, pumps and fittings in piping systems.
• Tests pipes for leaks and other problems.
• Performs routine and on-demand service, preventative and corrective maintenance.
