Job summary

Collabera in Toronto is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and develop security software applications and solutions. You will provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team while working with stakeholders to clarify feature requirements.

You will also support other teams (QA, operations) and must have a strong Java ecosystem background including Spring, Hibernate/JPA, REST/SOAP, and cryptography knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Science, or equivalent education & experience.
• Java, Hibernate/JPA, Spring, JDBC, SOAP/REST, XML/XSD/WSDL and security concepts required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security software applications and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for the development team.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify and define software feature requirements.
• Provide development support for other development, QA and operations.
