Job summary

Collabera in Toronto is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and develop security software applications and solutions. You will provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team while working with stakeholders to clarify feature requirements.

You will also support other teams (QA, operations) and must have a strong Java ecosystem background including Spring, Hibernate/JPA, REST/SOAP, and cryptography knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Science, or equivalent education & experience.
• Java, Hibernate/JPA, Spring, JDBC, SOAP/REST, XML/XSD/WSDL and security concepts required.

• Hibernate or Java Persistence API (JPA)
• Spring Framework (2.0 and up) and Spring MVC, or Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)
• JDBC (Java database connectivity technology)
• SOAP and RESTful Web Services
• Understanding of XML/XSD/WSDL
• Tomcat 5 and up
• PKI, Cryptography algorithms, Java cryptographic libraries (especially Bouncy Castle)
• jQuery/JSF, UI development and design skills
• LDAP (Lightweight Diectory Access Protocol)
