Job summary

Collabera is seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead and transition our large-scale presentation layer and ensure robust, scalable architecture. You will mentor engineers, implement tests, and drive CI practices across teams in a high-demand IT environment.

The role requires extensive Java/J2EE experience with Spring, strong full-stack capabilities, and a solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems, Oracle databases, and SQL optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in software architecture and large system development.
• 3+ years in leadership, training or mentorship.
• Java/J2EE with Spring/Spring MVC on Unix and/or Linux.
• Full stack development interfacing Java client applications with Oracle database technology and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
• Familiar with the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in transitioning from the current architecture to the target architecture (presentation tier from JSP to Rest).
• Mentor technical team through coaching, pairing, and reviews.
• Write tests for code and run these in a continuous integration environment.
