TD Securities is seeking an experienced Java Developer to build the next generation of risk computation platforms. You will architect and implement microservices-based solutions handling billions of calculations daily, leveraging modern data and cloud technologies.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, scalable design, and collaboration with global teams to support TD's risk and pricing efforts in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Java experience with strong JVM knowledge.
• Spring stack and microservice development using Spring Boot.
• Designing and integrating with REST APIs, gRPC endpoints.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka).
• Azure cloud (AWS/GCP also acceptable) and cloud tooling.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL, Hadoop, and Big Data streaming knowledge.
• Git, CI/CD toolchains (Maven/Gradle), Jenkins in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop risk applications using microservices, caching, and streaming to scale to large computations.
• Develop on-demand pricing solutions.
• Deliver large scale P&L and risk projects for trading and sales, aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Develop tooling and processes to improve team efficiency.
