We’re seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Global Security Settlements team, preferably with exposure to Cloud Architectures & Public Cloud offerings, in Operations Technology to build a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud-based settlement platform.

Our platform processes up to forty million trades and hundreds of billions of dollars in settlements across multiple countries and currencies, enabling critical security settlements globally.

The team is based in Montreal, New York, and Mumbai, organized into agile squads working closely with product owners and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. We value innovation and the application of the best tools and practices in our development process.

What You’ll Do In The Role

• Participate in requirements refinement sessions.
• Design key components of the global settlements system.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code, and develop automated tests.
• Guide junior developers and promote best practices.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and telemetry.
• Contribute to process improvements and standards.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• 6+ years of experience in building distributed systems using agile practices.
• Proficiency in core Java and Spring frameworks, including spring-boot.
• Exposure to front-end development is a plus.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, system resiliency, security, and observability.
• Experience with high-volume messaging and REST-based middleware, database modeling.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud development principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
