Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a Systems and Infrastructure Development, Operations and Maintenance Programmer Analyst in Lévis, Canada. The role involves analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, maintaining and upgrading software products to support large-scale IT systems and business needs.

A minimum of eight years of relevant experience and fluency in French are required. This is a temporary 12‑month position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Advise teams on using technology to develop business solutions and help them make changes in order to improve delivery velocity.
• Develop highly complex execution strategies, analyze and document business products and solutions.
• Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices.
• Establish and draft development methods and design patterns, procedures and IT choices. Lead documentation writing teams that will prepare and deliver training to peers and users.
• Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives to standardize solutions accordingly.
• Actively look for system optimization opportunities while taking into consideration possible impacts. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents.
• Represent teams in dealings with executive management, partners and outside organizations.
