Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Technician to provide remote support to diverse clients. The role includes troubleshooting on Windows and Mac, plus server operating systems, and managing end-user requests via a ticketing system.

You will coordinate on-prem to cloud conversions, including Exchange to O365, and server virtualization. Occasional travel to client sites is required with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT experience in support roles, remote or onsite.
• Related industry certifications preferred (A+, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, CCNA, etc)
• Experience supporting HP, Dell, Intel, or Lenovo hardware
• Windows 10/11 and server OS (2012-2022) knowledge
• Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware ESXi) experience
• Active Directory, GP, DNS, DHCP expertise
• Networking including VLANs, switches, routing, firewalls (WatchGuard, SonicWALL, Cisco, Fortinet)
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Wireless networks and access points support
• Customer service or office support experience

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on Windows, Mac, and Windows Server OS.
• Handle help desk requests via phone, email, or chat; document resolutions in ticketing system.
• Manage complex projects including on-prem to cloud migrations and server virtualization.
• Travel to customer sites for onsite resolutions; mileage reimbursed.
• Generate CSRs and install/configure on IIS web servers.
