Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a Senior Manager, Resiliency Management to lead the resiliency posture across a regulated financial services portfolio. You will own incident trend analysis, remediation execution, and executive communications with the CIO and technology leaders.

You will drive the resiliency roadmap, surface root causes from PRBs/INCs, and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations through proactive risk management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT operations, resiliency, or operational risk in regulated financial services.
• Experience reporting to senior technology leadership (Director, VP, or CIO).
• Hands-on background in vulnerability management, patch compliance, or IT risk remediation.
• ITSM end-to-end lifecycle knowledge: Problem, Change & Incident.
• ITIL accreditation is a plus; SNOW knowledge is key.
• Ability to build executive decks/presentations.
• Familiarity with hybrid technology environments and resiliency considerations for on-prem and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Resiliency Management for assigned CIO portfolio.
• Analyze PRBs and INCs to surface root causes and cross-portfolio risks.
• Track and execute remediation plans for resiliency findings and regulatory inquiries.
• Participate in monthly resiliency reviews with the CIO and senior audiences.
• Build and deliver executive-ready decks for CIOs and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate weekly checkpoints with Lead Technology Officers on backlogs and progress.
• Monitor regulatory scrutiny and ensure resiliency practices meet expectations.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management to drive resiliency outcomes.
