Job summary
iA Financial Group is seeking a Senior Advisor for IT Disaster Recovery and Resilience in Quebec. You will own the IT recovery framework, align IT with business continuity, risk management, and cybersecurity, and lead governance across key stakeholders, external partners, and strategic vendors.
The role requires 10+ years in IT, 5+ years in disaster recovery or resilience, and strong leadership with fluent French and working English.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years in information technology, incl. 5 years in disaster recovery/operational resilience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology Administration, or related field.
- Proven leadership and ability to mobilize diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Govern the Technology Recovery Program with governance, roles, and escalation mechanisms.
- Define IT recovery strategies aligned to RTO/RPO and vendor capabilities.
- Oversee recovery plans and map dependencies across apps, infra, and services.
- Plan and coordinate annual recovery exercises, backups, failover, and testing.
- Measure performance with dashboards; manage risk, audits, and improvement actions.
- Contribute to crisis management during IT incidents and cyber events.
