Job summary

Northland Power Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Senior IT/OT Project Manager to lead cross-functional IT, OT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives from our Toronto Head Office.

The role requires governance, budget accountability, and stakeholder alignment, with four in-office days per week and one flexible day for remote work. You will mentor project teams, drive scope, schedule, and risk management, and partner with operations, engineering, and procurement to realize business

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• PMP certification required; Agile certification considered an asset.
• 8–10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale IT and/or OT projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT/OT projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and roadmaps.
• Establish governance structures, executive reporting routines, and steering committee forums.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Build relationships with executive stakeholders, business leaders, operational teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate workshops, decision-making sessions, and business requirements gathering.
• Drive vendor selection, contract reviews, Statements of Work, and supplier performance management.
• Develop business cases and support investment, CAPEX and OPEX planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks.
• Lead Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery approaches as required.
• Support PMO processes, portfolio governance, intake processes, prioritization activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and project team members.
• Lead projects impacting OT environments, operational sites, and industrial technology platforms.
• Coordinate cybersecurity, infrastructure, remote access, industrial networking, SCADA, and enterprise application initiatives.
• Work closely with operations, engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, legal, procurement, and technology teams.
• Ensure operational continuity and minimal disruption during project implementation.
