The Opportunity

The IT Consultant is responsible for providing PeaceWorks clients with effective advice, support, and leadership to help meet their IT needs.

The IT Consultant must be a confident and capable communicator as well as a highly competent and knowledgeable IT expert.

The ability to interpret complex IT-related concepts and relay them in non-technical terms is also essential.

Responsibilities

1. Manage client relationships and IT project pipelines
2. Serve as primary escalation consultant for client organizations
3. Solve a wide range of technical challenges that arise across many client environments
4. Handle technical escalations

• Mentor other PeaceWorks consultants

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
• The ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks for multiple clients.
• The ability to work independently and as a strong contributing member of the team.
• Experience managing all aspects of customer Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience working with a variety of network topologies, devices, and protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and apply those skills to your work environment
• Some lifting and carrying of equipment is necessary.
• Valid driver's license and use of own vehicle.

Additional Qualifications :

Possession of any of these additional skills or qualifications would be an asset :

• Previous Consulting or Technical Sales experience.
• Courses in networking, system administration and/or hardware maintenance.
