What We Need:

The Procurement team is responsible for full cycle vendor operations and oversight. The Senior IT Buyer role handles the acquisition and renewal of desktop and server software licenses, maintenance, and computer hardware and peripherals. This role may also process standard change orders for specific vendors that do not require Legal review.

Your Day to Day:

1. Manage license and hardware requests via the ET ticketing system.
2. Source simple one-off purchases, develop and conduct requests for quotes, evaluate bids, select and recommend suppliers, and coordinate evaluations.
3. Coordinate renewals for desktop and server applications, discuss needs with business owners, evaluate options, and negotiate with vendors.
4. Evaluate new versions of desktop software with the desktop team.
5. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external policies and procedures.

We're Looking For:

• A partnership builder with internal and external stakeholders, capable of adding value and demonstrating procurement capabilities.
• Understanding of desktop/mid-range software applications and licensing.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of procurement or related experience with technology procurement.
• Healthcare payor experience is preferred.

The posted salary range reflects our current good-faith estimate. Actual pay may vary based on education, experience, and other factors. The role is eligible for variable pay and benefits including paid time off, insurance, 401(k), and well-being programs.
