Job summary

HOOPP is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help build the technology backbone for official valuation, risk monitoring and exposure management across asset classes. You will work with traders, portfolio managers and risk teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in capital markets with risk models, valuation and statistical analysis, plus 2+ years delivering technology projects in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in capitalmarkets (risk models, reporting, valuation models, statistical analysis, and finance theory)
• 2+ years of experience in technology delivery
• Deep understanding of the software development life cycle, Agile practices and tools
• Experience embedding AI into technology delivery and/or capital markets workflows
• Ability to read and reason about code and interact with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Hands-on analysis and delivery of complex valuation solutions across multiple asset classes
• Guide Product Owner and Solution Architect in developing roadmaps and backlogs
• Build relationships with HOOPP business partners and other Investment Technology teams
• Create AI-powered solutions focused on capital markets valuation usage
• Propose AI-enabled workflows to improve delivery processes
• Act as expert on HOOPP’s valuation, margin, risk and exposure monitoring processes
