Job summary

Syntronic in Canada seeks an experienced Integration and Test Specialist to support testing and validation of network management applications across software and networks. You will perform hands-on system and integration testing, build automated tests in Python, and collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

You will work onsite in a hybrid Canadian environment four days a week, apply NETCONF and gNMI knowledge, test IP networking, routing, and network devices, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years in software, system, integration, or network testing.
• Hands-on experience testing network management apps.
• Strong test automation experience using Python.
• Knowledge of NETCONF and gNMI for device config/validation.
• Solid OSI/IP networking understanding (TCP/UDP/VLANs).
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS).
• Experience with Linux and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans and cases for network management applications.
• Create and maintain automated tests with Python.
• Perform hands-on testing of networks and related infrastructure.
• Validate configurations using NETCONF/gNMI and protocol analysis.
• Document defects and verify fixes with development teams.
• Collaborate across software, networking, and systems teams.
