Job summary

W3Global in Ottawa seeks a highly skilled QA Tester with hands-on Netcracker BSS experience across CPQ, Catalog, Order Management, CRM, Billing and Customer Management. You will perform end-to-end testing, API/middleware validation, and collaborate with Business, Development, Architecture, and Digital teams to ensure quality delivery.

This is a hybrid role with 1-2 office days and remote work, based in Ottawa.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Summary

Seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with hands-on experience in Netcracker BSS applications, including CPQ, Product Catalog, Order Management, CRM, Billing, and Customer Management. The ideal candidate should possess strong telecom BSS knowledge, end-to-end testing expertise, and experience validating integrations between Netcracker platforms and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing across Netcracker BSS applications.
• Validate end-to-end customer journeys spanning Product Catalog, CPQ, Order Capture, Order Management, CRM, Billing, and Customer Lifecycle Management.
• Test integrations between Netcracker BSS platforms and Digital Applications (Web, Mobile, Self-Service Portals), as well as middleware and API layers.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data for complex business workflows.
• Conduct API, microservices, database, and interface validation testing.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with Business, Development, Architecture, and Digital teams to ensure quality delivery.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of QA/testing experience in Telecom BSS environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Netcracker CPQ, Product Catalog, Order Management, CRM, and Billing modules.
• Solid understanding of telecom customer, product, offer, pricing, order, and billing processes.
• Experience testing integrations between Netcracker BSS, Digital Channels, Middleware, and downstream systems.
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
• Good SQL/database validation skills.
• Experience with JIRA/ALM and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred

• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based platforms.
• Telecom domain experience across Wireless, Wireline, or Converged services.
