Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Montreal, QC, is seeking a C++ Software Developer & Tester to join our hybrid team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining a test harness in C++, interfacing with TI AM64xx peripherals and the TI SDK.

You will write test cases for FPGA tests in DOORS and C++, review procedures, maintain Python automation scripts, and contribute to low‑level device testing and memory‑mapped hardware work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong C++ low‑level embedded experience.
• Knowledge of STL and memory management, plus runtime integration details.
• Experience with memory‑mapped devices and low‑level drivers.
• Experience with FPGA testing and DOORS test cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the test harness in C++, including TI SDK for AM64xx (in C).
• Write test cases and procedures for FPGA tests (DOORS, in C++).
• Review test cases and procedures for FPGA tests.
• Maintain Python scripts and automation in the harness.
• Understand TI peripherals.
