Job summary

Westland Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Insurance Advisor in Lethbridge, AB to educate clients on a wide range of insurance products and own client relationships. The role focuses on complex cases, team mentorship, and contributing to local community presence.

You’ll promote growth, provide tailored recommendations, and support branch success while delivering high‑quality service across personal lines and commercial inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience with a Level 2 License and progress toward CAIB or CIP (financial support provided).
• Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling complex client needs with tailored coverage recommendations.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and grow business.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage competing priorities with accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset, mentoring others, and a solutions‑focused communicator.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
• Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable personal lines coverage recommendations.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes with accuracy.
• Build lasting relationships through proactive support during renewals, claims, and follow‑ups.
• Identify sales opportunities, cross‑selling and up‑selling products to drive growth and support branch success.

As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help us grow our presence and profile in the local community. You'll also serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members

• Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and up-selling products
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day-to-day operations as needed
