Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga is seeking a Senior Instrumentation, Control & Electrical Engineer to lead design, testing, and commissioning of specialized nuclear tooling systems used in reactor refurbishment.

You will develop PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions, LabVIEW DAQ, and motion control; review and prepare design docs; support field deployment at nuclear stations; mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Software, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation, controls, automation, or electrical engineering.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and field support activities.
• Nuclear tooling or refurbishment domain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation, control, automation, and electrical systems for nuclear tooling.
• Develop and support PLC, HMI, SCADA, LabVIEW, motion control, and DAQ applications.
