Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Contract Administrator to strengthen our Infrastructure Field Services team in Ottawa. You will oversee administration of medium to large civil contracts, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and quality standards, while coordinating inspections and communications with clients and project managers.

Your experience in civil construction and strong organizational skills will support timely reviews, responses to RFCs/COs/RFIs, and payment processes.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Knowledge of OPSS/OPSD.
• Knowledge of OHSA and Environmental Protection Act.
• Knowledge of construction survey and layout.
• Experience with civil contracts and administration.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize, and control all aspects of medium to large civil contract administration.
• Analyze situations or data for complex problems.
• Ensure contracts align with plans, specs, and procedures.
• Coordinate inspection activities with project team.
• Prepare recommendations for RFCs, COs, RFIs, and EOTs.
