Health Futures is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Project Manager to lead and drive technology initiatives in our fast-paced, Agile environment. The ideal candidate will oversee project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions that enhance healthcare operations. If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for technology and healthcare, this is the role for you.ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and feasibility.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring milestones are met.Act as the primary liaison between business, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication.Oversee risk management processes, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and dependencies.Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Support change management efforts by providing structured communication, training, and transition plans.Monitor project performance using appropriate KPIs, reporting progress to executive leadership and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA) and IT security best practices.LeadershipFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.Advocate for Agile and hybrid project management best practices to optimize efficiency and delivery.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project execution and resource utilization.Stay informed on emerging healthcare technology trends and regulatory updates to align project strategies.Professional Experience & Qualifications10+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise technology environment.Expertise in Agile (Scrum / Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.Experience with tools like Smartsheet, Lucid, MS Project, Excel and Timekeeping software is a must.Strong experience managing cross-functional teams, including software engineers, QA, UX / UI, and business stakeholders.Ability to drive Agile adoption and ensure teams follow best practices for sprint execution and backlog management.Experience in managing enterprise applications, cloud migrations, or system integrations is an asset.Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA) is preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is an asset.Why Join Us?If you are a highly motivated Senior IT Project Manager with a passion for leading impactful technology projects in healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
