Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive information architecture needs assessments under the guidance of project leads and architects.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops to determine reporting requirements.
- Lead review sessions to validate requirements.
- Develop and present information architecture artifacts for approvals.
- Create Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models.
- Develop Fact & Dimension Matrices and Logical Dimensional Models.
- Design interface data requirements.
- Support project planning and resource estimation for architecture components.
- Provide expertise to solution design and development teams.
- Adhere to GO-ITS standards and revise architectures as required by governance bodies.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Information Architecture Skills – 60%:
- Experience in creating data models and capturing integration requirements.
- Developing Fact & Dimensional Matrices using Business Process Models.
- Creating and normalizing Logical Data Models with attributes, data types, and sizes.
- Developing architecture specifications aligned with Business Architecture models.
- Experience with Siebel applications and Power Designer tools.
- Leading complex architecture reviews and obtaining approvals.
- Knowledge of Government Information Architecture standards.
Soft Skills – 30%:
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Reporting progress and managing risks.
- Stakeholder management and consensus building skills.
Public Sector Experience – 10%:
- Experience with Government IT standards, review processes, and policies.
- Knowledge of Public Sector applications and systems.
- Extensive experience in data modeling and architecture for over 10 years.
- Experience in obtaining management approval for architecture deliverables.
- Proficiency with Power Designer or similar tools.
