Job summary

Alstom in Saint-Bruno, QC is seeking a Work Package Controller to lead cost performance and industrial controlling of multi‑million engineering projects. You will monitor costs, validate BOMs, and support procurement costing in a hybrid 3 days on‑site / 2 days remote work.

You will interface with operations and procurement, analyze cost evolution and variances, and ensure data integrity in SAP. This permanent, full‑time role is based at the St‑Bruno site.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Relevant experience in controller role in an industrial environment.
• Strong computer skills and fluent in French & English; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and validate WPs' financials including BOMs, EAC and variance analysis.
• Bridge budget, forecast, ROFO and actuals; identify root causes of deviations.
• Collaborate with Project Procurement & Finance to optimize material cost control.
• Monitor cost evolution, inflation and indexation; track QCD deviations.
• Drive KPIs, cost reductions and risk mitigation plans.
• Be focal point for claims, material variances and SAP data integrity.
• Manage cost-to-complete and cost gap closure.
