Job summary

Green and Spiegel LLP, Canada’s preeminent immigration law firm, seeks a Senior Immigration Case Analyst to manage intake, processing and follow-up of client files in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires senior experience with immigration applications, attention to detail, and strong writing skills, within a diverse, multi-language team. Salary ranges and benefits accompany this established practice in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact for client inquiries at all stages; provide status updates throughout the file lifecycle.
• Complete government forms for various applications, draft submission letters, and follow up on information.
• Conduct research and use government resources to ensure documents are current.
• Take full accountability of assigned files, check client ledgers and invoices for approval.
• Schedule appointments and meetings with clients.
• Diarize and meet timelines and expiry dates.

The Senior Immigration Case Analyst plays a key role in the intake, processing and follow up of client files. Senior Immigration Case Analysts operate at various levels of autonomy and on various types of immigration files depending on their level of experience and tenure with the Firm.

We are seeking a legal professional with previous experience at an immigration law firm and someone who thrives working on challenging and rewarding work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with the following immigration application types would be an asset:

• LMIAs
• Sponsorships
• Express Entry
• Investor Programs

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acting as the key point of contact for client inquiries at all stages; sending out initiation for files and providing clients with status updates throughout the life-cycle of their file
• Completing government forms required for various applications, drafting submission letters, mining the client’s file for information and following up on outstanding information in a timely manner
• Conducting research and leveraging government resources to ensure processes are current and appropriate documents are being used
• Full accountability of assigned files or applications including checking client ledgers and billing processes, reviewing invoices for approval
• Scheduling appointments and meetings with clients
• Ensuring that timelines and deadlines are diarized and met including expiry dates and other key dates

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree OR a Diploma or Certificate is required
• Must have senior level of experience working on immigration applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent writing abilities is a requirement
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment

Green and Spiegel reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

• $68,000 – $85,000 per year
