Job summary

UNB Geodesy & Geomatics Engineering seeks an Identity and Access Management specialist to design, implement, and maintain robust IAM systems. You will lead Entra ID, MidPoint integration, and SSO infrastructure with a focus on security, high availability, and compliance.

You will collaborate with application owners and IT teams to define access models, automate lifecycle workflows, and ensure scalable governance across cloud and on-prem environments in a demanding university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering.
• 5 years progressive experience in systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and operation of identity and access management systems to ensure reliability, security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot identity provisioning and authentication issues across hybrid Entra ID on-prem AD MidPoint environments.
• Coordinate deployment and configuration of new IAM components and connectors including federation integrations and SSO onboarding of applications.
• Act as SME for identity and access governance; design entitlements and RBAC/ABAC models.
• Design scalable, auditable IAM solutions and lifecycle automation processes (onboarding/offboarding workflows).
• Monitor identity infrastructure for availability, performance and compliance; review logs and audit events.
• Collaborate with project teams and complete independent IAM projects on time.
