Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior-level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team in Canada. The role focuses on water and wastewater treatment projects, with exposure to PLC/SCADA/DCS deployments and advanced analytics.

You will work with multidisciplinary engineers and designers on high-impact facilities, and contribute to design, commissioning, and support activities. Ideal candidates will have a B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 15 years of instrumentation and controls experience.
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead control systems engineering and process control planning for water and wastewater facilities.
• Develop P&ID drawings, network diagrams, and control panels.
• Coordinate I&C deliverables with process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Provide construction support, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with remote project teams.
