PRI Engineering in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Senior Hydrotechnical Engineer to lead dam safety, mining water management, and flood hazard work. This role focuses on design, review, and mentoring within a high-consequence practice.

You will seal Dam Safety Reviews, perform inflow design flood analyses, and guide river engineering and spillway projects, while ensuring compliance with Canadian Dam Association and BC guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• P.Eng. with EGBC or eligible for BC registration.
• 8+ years hydrotechnical consulting experience.
• Experience with Dam Safety Reviews/inspections and inflow design flood analyses.
• Familiarity with Canadian Dam Association guidelines and BC Dam Safety Regulation.

Aufgaben

• Lead Dam Safety Reviews and inspections and be accountable for reports and recommendations.
• Direct inflow design flood analysis, dam breach mapping, and spillway assessment.
• Review instrumentation data and update Emergency Preparedness Plans and OMS manuals.
• Lead mine water management, including water balance and tailings hydrology.
• Oversee flood hazard assessments, floodplain mapping, and river engineering.
• Mentor engineers and EITs toward professional registration.
