SLR Consulting (Canada) is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to lead hydrology investigations and modelling across mining, infrastructure, and resource development in Western Canada. You will mentor staff, support client relationships, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Hydrology experience in consulting or similar.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geoscience, Environmental Science, Geography or Engineering.
• Registered or eligible for P. Geo; strong regulatory understanding.
• Proven leadership of hydrology investigations and monitoring programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client relationship focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrologic investigations across mining, infrastructure, and resource projects.
• Design and oversee hydrometric and monitoring programs in line with provincial standards.
• Lead hydrologic modelling and water balance studies for project design and planning.
• Provide QA/QC of hydrology deliverables and regulatory submissions.
• Mentor junior staff and assist business development initiatives.
