Job summary

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Architect to shape and maintain FSRA’s hybrid cloud environment. You will provide technical leadership to ensure secure, stable platforms that scale with FSRA’s modernization goals.

You will lead governance of cloud architecture, drive capacity planning, and oversee automation with PowerShell, Terraform/Bicep, and Azure services such as Dynamics 365 and Office 365.

Qualifications

• Education: Postsecondary degree in information technology, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior/lead technical roles.
• Azure certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert; Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, automation, monitoring, cost optimization).
• Hybrid cloud architectures, high availability, scalability, and resilience understood.

Responsibilities

• Establish cloud architecture governance, tagging, cost controls, and security guardrails.
• Lead long-term infrastructure roadmap in partnership with enterprise architecture.
• Build scalable, secure, cost-optimized environments for enterprise platforms (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Office 365).
• Oversee capacity forecasting, scaling strategies, and incident response.
• Drive automation using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and IaC to improve deployment consistency.
• Ensure security posture with identity management, encryption, and data protection.
• Align infrastructure with compliance and audit standards; support disaster recovery planning.
