Job summary

Altis in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Architect for a 6-month contract onsite to shape and scale a modern hybrid cloud environment. This hands-on leadership role will guide enterprise architecture and modernization efforts.

You will drive automation with IaC (Terraform, PowerShell, Bicep), ensure security, resiliency, and cost efficiency, and mentor engineering teams across infrastructure and platform domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Deep expertise in Azure, hybrid cloud architecture.
• Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, or Bicep).
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern Azure and hybrid cloud architecture for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

• Establish governance frameworks including standards, policies, and architecture review processes.
• Oversee reliability practices including disaster recovery, monitoring, and incident response.

Compensation: $100-115/h inc
