  • Schedule probationary reviews and annual performance evaluations, collaborate with external consultants on complex employee relations issues, and ensure timely feedback and documentation.
  • Communicate policies clearly, ensure staff acknowledgment, and interpret employment legislation across Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Maintain compliance with ESA, WCB, WSIB, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct exit interviews, collect company assets, and prepare necessary termination documentation with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Assign and track employee learning plans and ensure completion of required certifications and compliance training.
  • Partner with senior leadership to coordinate incident reports and WCB / WSIB claims, support safety initiatives, and maintain documentation.
  • Travel regularly to operational sites in Saskatoon and Calgary to provide consistent, in-person HR support, resolve issues, and foster team engagement.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and policy compliance
  • Familiarity with tools like Breezy HR, BrightHR, UAttend, and Business Central
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment standards, particularly in Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan
