Graham Contracting, Ltd. is recruiting a Senior HSE Coordinator for the Services Division. Based in Cold Lake, you will support safe, compliant project delivery through leadership in HSE, incident management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in safety or a related field.
• High school diploma plus college/technical diploma.
• Health & Safety certification or safety designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE compliance: ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards and incident reporting.
• Support Project Teams: assist PMs and Supervisors with HSE MS and PSSP implementation.
• Incident Management & Analysis: upload incidents, investigate, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Regulatory & Emergency Preparedness: review regulations and client requirements; ensure ERP documents are posted.
• Reporting & Accountability: compile HSE data, report effectiveness, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

About The Role

Graham is actively recruiting for a Senior HSE Coordinator supporting the Services Division. Reporting to Senior Regional HSE Manager, the Senior HSE Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the safe and compliant delivery of projects through HSE leadership, incident management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is based at our Cold Lake IOL Project, on a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

• Lead HSE Compliance: Ensure personal and team adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, including incident reporting and regulatory compliance
• Support Project Teams: Assist Project Managers and Supervisors in implementing HSE Management System (HSE MS) and Project Site Safety Plans (PSSP)
• Incident Management & Analysis: Upload incidents into Graham’s system, investigate events, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions
• Regulatory & Emergency Preparedness: Review local regulations, client requirements, and emergency protocols; ensure ERP documents and notices are communicated and posted
• Reporting & Accountability: Compile HSE data, report effectiveness of HSE MS, hold direct reports accountable, and maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections

The Right Tools for the Job

• Education : High school diploma plus completion of a college or technical school diploma program
• Experience : 3–5 years in safety or a related field
• Certifications : Health & Safety certification or safety designation is an asset
• Software : Proficient with MS Office Suite and online reporting software. Understanding of HSE MS systems, WCB processes, safety terminology, and general constructability
• Other Requirements : Clear criminal background check; pre‑employment drug & alcohol testing
