Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Underground Mining Technical Assistant to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working either a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation. This position is open to candidates who reside within 150 km of the McIlvenna Bay site or who can travel using our company shuttle from Saskatoon or Prince Albert. No additional travel subsidy is provided.

The Underground Mining Technical Assistant is an entry level position designed for early-career individuals interested in pursuing a career in underground mining technical services and operations. The successful candidate will assist the Survey, Ventilation, and Ground Control departments while gaining practical underground experience, developing technical skills, and acquiring knowledge of mine planning and drill and blast processes. Through structured training, mentoring, and hands on field assignments, the successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of underground mining practices, data collection, operational processes, and technical support functions. This role serves as the foundation of a structured career development program, providing opportunities to progress into technical positions such as mine technician or mine planner.
We offer a competitive salary of $56,000/year based on experience and qualifications, along with an annual discretionary short-term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
