Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced HR/payroll administrator in Canada to provide guidance on benefits and pension plans, verify data, and ensure accuracy for audits. You will maintain confidential client databases and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• Completion of payroll or benefits certifications or coursework.
• Progress toward CGA/CMA or equivalent finance certification.
• 5 years of experience in CS/HR/payroll/accounting environments.
• Knowledge of compensation legislation including Income Tax Act, WCA, ESD.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and advice on HR, pension, benefits, and payroll plans.
• Verify, process, input and maintain plan activity within standards.
• Process client transactions with audit-ready data accuracy checks.
• Maintain client confidentiality and manage client databases.
• Liaise between client groups, TES units and vendors; resolve issues.
• Educate clients and employees on policies and procedures; monitor controls.
• Identify improvements and participate in system upgrades and test plans.
• Provide training, mentoring and direction to team members.
