Compensation : $100,000 - $140,000 / year
Description
ActiveState is seeking a skilled Senior HR Manager to manage all aspects of our HR function. This role is responsible for driving HR initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness and is critical in fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture that supports our mission to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
Reporting to the CFO, you will manage culture-building initiatives, performance management, compliance and employee relations. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and a champion for employees, ensuring that HR policies and practices align with the company’s goals and values.
This position is available to remote workers anywhere in Western North America.

You have a deep sense of ownership and are highly accountable, with strong attention to detail. You thrive in environments that require adaptability and creativity, and you are always looking for ways to enhance effectiveness and employee engagement. You have a deep understanding of HR best practices and regulations in Canada and the US
You are approachable, empathetic, and solutions-oriented, with a natural ability to balance employee needs and business goals. Your experience in a remote-first SaaS or tech industry gives you unique insights into the challenges and opportunities of supporting a dynamic, innovative team.
