We are working with a leading manufacturing business to hire an HR Generalist for their high-performing site in Montreal. This is a hands-on business partner role, supporting operations and plant leadership across a range of HR activities.
The HR Generalist will be a key part of the site HR team, supporting both hourly and salaried populations, and driving initiatives across employee relations, recruitment, policy administration, and engagement. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:Act as a trusted partner to supervisors and managers on day-to-day HR matters
Support recruitment for both hourly and administrative roles
Advise on and apply HR policies, procedures, and labor standards
Assist in handling investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Coordinate onboarding, training, and performance review processes
Contribute to employee engagement and recognition programs
Generate HR metrics and reports as needed
Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field
3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a manufacturing or unionized environment
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
CHRP designation is preferred.

Nous recrutons pour le compte d'un important site manufacturier situé à Montréal un(e) Généraliste RH. Ce poste stratégique joue un rôle de partenaire d'affaires RH auprès des gestionnaires de l'usine et soutient les opérations au quotidien.
Le ou la titulaire travaillera sur l'ensemble du cycle de vie des employés (employés horaires et administratifs) et contribuera activement aux initiatives en matière de relations de travail, de dotation, de conformité RH, et d'engagement des employés.
Agir comme point de contact RH pour les gestionnaires et les employés
Gérer les recrutements pour les postes horaires et administratifs
Appliquer et interpréter les politiques RH et les lois du travail
Participer aux enquêtes, à la gestion des conflits et aux mesures disciplinaires
Assurer la tenue à jour des dossiers employés
Coordonner l'accueil, la formation et les évaluations de performance
Contribuer à la mise en œuvre d'activités d'engagement et de reconnaissance
Produire des rapports RH et participer à des projets d'amélioration continue
Collaborer avec l'équipe RH pour assurer l'uniformité dans l'application des pratiques
Diplôme universitaire en gestion des ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe
Minimum 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire, idéalement en milieu manufacturier ou syndiqué
Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles et capacité à résoudre des problèmes
Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique
Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit
Membre de l'Ordre des CRHA (atout)
