Job summary

Hatch in Thunder Bay is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to lead highway planning and design within the Highways & Bridges Division. You will contribute to high-profile Ontario projects, collaborating with managers to deliver safe, sustainable transportation solutions. The ideal candidate holds a B.S.

in Civil Engineering, 10–15 years of highway experience, and a P.Eng. designation in Ontario, with expertise in Inroads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
• 10-15 years’ experience with highway and road design.
• Professional Engineering Designation in Ontario is required.
• Experience in consulting engineering environment.
• Experience utilizing Inroads is mandatory.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience working on MTO projects /designs is mandatory.
• Must have sound knowledge of current engineering principles, methods, and practices.
• Excellent technical and communication skills are a necessity.
• Ability to work on several projects concurrently.

• Preliminary and detailed design of arterial roads, highways and freeways (alignments, geometrics, staging, utilities, roadside safety);

To support the growth of our Thunder Bay office, we are actively seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our Highways & Bridges Division. Pay range: $89,000 to $124,000
