Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to provide analytics support, build cloud-based data models, and develop robust data pipelines for clinical analytics priorities. You will analyze large administrative health databases, create analytic cohorts, and develop interactive data visualizations in partnership with clinical teams.

This 7-month contract in Toronto uses a hybrid 3-day-in-office model and emphasizes data privacy, scalable analytics, and end-to-end pipeline delivery

Qualifications

• Health data experience in public sector or government context.
• Advanced SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI delivery experience.
• Experience querying and linking large health databases to form analytic cohorts.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain automated data pipelines and clinical reporting.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Nice-to-have: mental health data concepts; PHIPA privacy familiarity; Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data models and Power BI dashboards.
• Develop automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Azure.
• Query and join large admin health datasets to form analytic cohorts.
• Perform root-cause analysis and compare pipeline architectures.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to adopt cloud analytics tools.
• Create data validation routines and technical documentation.
• Document end-to-end data architectures for sustainability.
