Motion Recruitment Partners in Toronto is seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Product Owner for a hybrid, 15-20 month contract. The role blends hands-on analytics with product ownership, focusing on Power BI dashboards, SQL queries, Python scripts, and Azure data services.

You will partner with Risk leadership and stakeholders to shape the data roadmap, run the backlog, and drive cloud-based self-service analytics as part of a large modernization effort.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data analytics, BI, product ownership or related roles.
• Hands-on experience as Product Owner and Data Analyst.
• Advanced Power BI modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard development and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Set roadmap and manage backlog while delivering dashboards and datasets.
• Collaborate with Risk leadership and senior stakeholders on reporting.
• Lead data modernization efforts moving from manual processes to cloud analytics.
• Balance analyst and product-owner responsibilities in a large organization.
