Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Toronto, ON seeks a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design and implement test procedures for RF and radiation systems, and build manual and automated test setups to ensure robust validation of hardware.

Collaborating with hardware, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, you will provide DFT feedback, support prototypes, and participate in design reviews to guarantee testability and alignment with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on hardware testing experience in lab environments.
• Experience with test automation and test scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test procedures and fixtures for RF and radiation systems.
• Create manual and automated test setups using lab and production equipment.
• Develop and maintain test scripts to improve efficiency and repeatability.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test reports aligned with specs and customer needs.
• Maintain traceability and detailed records for auditing and continuous improvement.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to validate designs and resolve test issues.
• Support prototype bring-up, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate early with design teams to ensure testability of PCBs and assemblies.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure test requirements are met.
