Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Platform Engineering team in a role focused on core hardware platform development and chipset selection. You will bridge hardware architecture decisions with product teams, ensuring robust design and successful roll-out of platforms to product developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years hands-on experience in electrical hardware design and systems architecture.

Responsibilities

• Platform Development & Roll-out: design and develop core hardware platforms and create documentation for seamless rollout to product teams.
• Chipset Strategy & Selection: evaluate requirements and select next-generation chipsets.
• AVL Management: manage approved vendor list and align with procurement for supply chain robustness.
• Hardware Design & Validation: complete lifecycle hardware design with signal and power integrity reviews.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: work with mechanical, software, and RF teams to resolve platform constraints and ensure DFM.
• AI & Chipset Technologies: understand AI applications in modern chipsets and familiarity with automation and prompting.
