Job summary

Qualus in Vancouver is seeking a Program Manager to lead a portfolio of electrical engineering projects. You will integrate project plans, resources, schedules, and client requirements to drive safe, predictable, and commercially successful outcomes.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership, coordinate Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, and maintain ownership of scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• PMP designation considered an asset.
• Minimum of 15 years of engineering, project management, and/or operations experience on transmission, substation, or distribution projects.
• Proven success managing a portfolio of projects with accountability for scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, contracts, and client outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with forecasting, change management, contract administration, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of an assigned portfolio of projects from initiation through closeout.
• Establish portfolio priorities, integrated plans, delivery strategies, milestones, and performance measures aligned with business and client objectives.
• Coordinate Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to manage dependencies, interfaces, constraints, and competing priorities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Qualus, client, contractual, and quality requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and direct corrective or recovery actions when outcomes are at risk.
