Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Systems or related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in power system engineering focusing on grid integration.
- Experience with power system analysis software: PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD.
- Deep understanding of grid codes, interconnection standards and stability concepts.
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar PV, wind) is essential.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the impact of new generation facilities on grid stability and performance.
- Develop and implement technical requirements for grid connection of power projects.
- Perform studies related to power flow, short circuits, transient stability, and protection coordination.
- Design and optimize control strategies for voltage and frequency regulation.
- Collaborate with planning and operations to ensure grid code compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in grid integration.
- Develop and maintain grid interconnection standards and guidelines.
- Liaise with developers, equipment manufacturers, and regulators.
- Contribute to long-term grid expansion and modernization plans.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
